Frog is an amphibian that belongs to a group called vertebrata.
Frogspawn is a mass of fertilised eggs surrounded by a protective nutrient jelly.
Egg divides and redivides to give rise to the embryo. It clings to the water weed.
Tadpole is a larval stage in the life cycle of a frog. Its long, vertically-flattened tail helps it to swim, and because it has gills, it is able to respire in the water.
After about 6 to 9 weeks, little tiny legs start to sprout.
